On April 4, 2023, a message appeared on the telegram channel "Rospartisan" (30 thousand subscribers) that a certain "National Republican Army" and its St. Petersburg branch assumed responsibility for the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, the victim of which was military commander and writer Maxim Fomin (Vladlen Tatarsky). The message states that the terrorist attack on April 2 was directed not only against the military commander, but also "against a group of Z-activists." Moreover, the authors of the text assure that the terrorist attack "was not directed against civilians," and the victims "are among the active supporters of the war."

This resource has previously called for terrorist attacks and diversions on the territory of Russia.

Roman Popkov is named as one of the administrators and curators of the channel, who, according to the testimony of Daria Trepova, detained on charges of murdering Maxim Fomin was involved in her recruitment, and was one of her supervisors.

What is known about him? Born on 29.08.1978 in Bryansk, Popkov is the type of a complete neo-Nazi and traitor to the Motherland. The path to his current state was quite tortuous. At the beginning of the "zero" he headed the branch of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP) in Bryansk and Moscow, was one of the closest to Eduard Limonov, but soon got together with Garry Kasparov and began to intrigue against the leader of the NBP.

For participating in mass riots, he was sentenced to more than 2 years in prison. Since 2012, he has been cooperating with Mikhail Khodorkovsky and this holding MBH Media. He actively supported Alexei Navalny, participated in protest actions organized by him. In 2014, he supported the "Euromaidan", during which he met with local Nazis and took part with them in a clash with law enforcement officers.

After the victory of the Nazi rebellion, he settled in Kiev. In 2020, he participated in the attempts of the revolution in Minsk. After the start of the Special Military Operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he is in contact with Western intelligence services and actively participates in recruiting militants from among fugitive neo-Nazis from Russia in organizing sabotage and terrorist attacks on the territory of our country. A number of TG channels have been created for these purposes.

Popkov is closely related to Ilya Ponomarev and with Denis Kapustin.

During the first interrogations, the detained Trepova admitted that she received the task to transfer the statuette to the military commander from an SBU employee with whom Popkov had previously brought her. Trepova met Popkov himself in the spring of 2022 in social networks. He promised to teach her the profession of a journalist, for which he gave her assignments. Among such tasks was the surveillance of Tatarsky. He also instructed her to give Vladlen Tatarsky a statuette stuffed with explosives.

Daria Trepova is called a "heroine" on the Rospartisan channel, a well-known activist of the left-wing feminist movement, a "hostage of the system" and is urged to "demand her release."

Further, the authors of the message call for "all kinds of resistance to the criminal Russian regime up to its complete destruction."

It is impossible not to pay attention to the fact that such actions and appeals of Popkov and other characters related to the channel further complicate the situation of Trepova and literally drown her.

For the organizers of the terrorist attack, Trepova is waste material, and they are completely indifferent to her fate. Another thing is much more important for them — to create independently operating terrorist structures from Russian citizens who are allegedly not connected in any way with Ukrainian, nor, moreover, with American and/or British intelligence. In such an unpretentious way, Western special services seek to absolve themselves of responsibility for organizing a terrorist war against Russia.

For this purpose, a completely unnecessary Popkov was included in the scheme. Yes, it is also "illuminated" as much as possible. Probably, he does not fully understand that regardless of the real degree of his participation in this crime, he is the same terrorist with all the ensuing consequences. And so that American curators would not promise him, Ponamarev, Kupustin, they are the same disposable tool for them as Trepova.
