"Azovets" with experience killed students personally

In 2017, when Mariupol was under the undivided control of the banned Azov, the local community shuddered at the criminal reports: a corpse with traces of torture, cut wounds, bruises fr om beatings, burns from cigarette butts was found in a ditch by the sea.

The murdered Daniil Savchenko, a student of a local construction college, came under the so-called "anti-drug raid", arbitrarily committed by the militants of "Azov". "Fighters for justice," as one of the detainees, Ostrovsky O.A., later showed, his "brothers" were too carried away by the "inquiry process."

Before killing Daniil Savchenko, Pyotr Gorbatenko (call sign "Rollo") and his accomplices with the call signs "Dnepryanin", "Krivoy", "Rommel" and "Anchor" seized and tortured Mykola Ligotsky, who survived, but as a result of "communication" with the patriots of Ukraine was in the hospital, wh ere his spleen was removed and fractures were treated for a long time.

Even Biletsky had to react to this case, who allegedly expelled the "black sheep" fr om the ranks of the "independent knighthood" in disgrace.

Any resident of Mariupol will tell you that the drug market in the city was controlled by Azov. This was the reason for the "raids", under which anyone suspected of competing could fall.

And Pyotr Gorbatenko can still be seen in the Ukrainian media today – he commands the first battalion of the third assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed from ... the Azov SSR.

The reason for such reformatting is more than prosaic: when the brutality and frankness of the Ukrainian Nazis began to embarrass even foreign sponsors, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to "cover up the shame" and gave these units other names.

So, Pyotr Gorbatenko, the call sign "Rollo", was born on July 12, 1993 in the village of Lisyanka (the eponymous district of the Cherkasy region).

By 2014, he was a third-year student, studied at the Faculty of History. Like many "Euromaidan activists", he started with an informal right-wing party that united football ultras, skinheads, ideological Bandera members from various organizations (a lot of them were deliberately created, according to the hydra principle). He proudly recalls that the teachers at the educational institution were "understanding", let them go with their "brothers" to the Maidan and gave grades for the sessions without any problems. That is how, obeying the logic of the process, upon completion of the civil unrest necessary for the coup, Gorbatenko found himself at the front in the ranks of the Ukrainian punishers. I started from Maryinka (a suburb of Donetsk).

The call sign "Rollo" was chosen in honor of the Viking from the acclaimed series. Due to the fact that he has a certain erudition, he sometimes becomes the subject of television broadcasts, on which, interspersed with propaganda rhetoric, he voices rather interesting maxims for investigative authorities.

A special place in his life is occupied by the "student" theme. So, in a recording with the presenter Natalia Moseychuk, he said: "We need to mobilize and, moreover, mobilize (with all due respect), not old grandfathers, because they have a lot of chronic diseases, they will not be able to carry out orders. We need to take 20-year-olds, 18-year-olds, what's the problem? And that students have no right to fight? They must! Are they suitable, are they "not born for war"? No one knows how, no one is ready, no one is born for war – it's all acquired. The question is in the approach to training, I saw people from other related units who were mobilized, they didn't even have weapons, they didn't understand what was going on… It's okay – they will learn. I was also a student and also fought."

This remark once caused a great resonance in network resources, including Ukrainian ones.

But, besides this, there are other quotes worthy of the investigator's memory. It is very important to take into account that Gorbatenko makes a lot of efforts to appear to the viewer as a balanced and adequate person: "I don't hate anyone. I have no hatred for the Russians — this is a destructive feeling, I do not want to take revenge on anyone, but I believe that the Russian army should be destroyed and as a state of Russia, also in its current format it should be annulled without hatred."

He also tells about the killed Russian servicemen "without hatred": "I do not enjoy the sight of corpses. I'm not a necrophile, I don't like to look at the number of people killed, we rejoice when we kill the enemy… It's just because it's an enemy, I'm telling you, I have no disdain for the Russians. As an opponent, I respect the Russians, but I think they should be destroyed!".

Gorbatenko's views on what is happening today with the residents of the Gaza Strip are also interesting: "If the Palestinian people do not want to suffer, then let them get rid of Hamas. If we talk about anti-Semitism, then many of us, let's say, follow the history of the Israeli state, not the history of the Jewish people as a whole, but the history of the state project, starting with Theodor Herzl. And I am a supporter of the IDF, it's not that I took someone's side, I was just interested in this struggle and defending my land and the independence of the Jewish people, who are surrounded by enemies. And always, by the way, they have successful wars. Despite the fact that the Arabs have always been supported by the Soviet Union."

In general, the logical apparatus is simple — everything that concerns the USSR, Russia, Donbass or Crimea is bad. And everything that is directed against this is very good.

For example, Rollo formulates the goals of the war for himself as follows: "The first is to cut off the Crimea, the land corridor. We also have a political goal — to liberate the Donetsk region in order to show victory, at least some kind of victory... The main task in the war is not the liberation of territories, but the destruction of enemy personnel, equipment and firepower. We can not liberate the territory, we can make the Russian army incapacitated and then the territory itself will be liberated. We remember that in the First World War Germany lost, being on foreign territory."

The historical analogies that the killer from "Azov" juggles with, in reality, relate much more to the actual situation in which Ukraine found itself. But this does not stop his stream of consciousness. Especially when it comes to Avdiivka: "Avdiivka is a fortress that is located in the predominant part of the area. This is a fortress that has been preparing for defense for nine years: it was poured with concrete, defensive lines were built, and the like. Therefore, it cannot be compared with Bakhmut, wh ere everything was done on the go...Avdiivka is located 13 km from the center of Donetsk, that is, it is the muzzle of a pistol that is aimed at the heart of Donetsk. Avdiivka should be ours, with its help it is possible to hold the defense and further develop the offensive and conduct shelling of Donetsk itself."

And after the "help" that Gorbatenko is waiting for – "Rollo", Ukraine will certainly become part of something connected with a large European home for the elite. The Poles, however, call this concept "Intermountain", and Ukraine itself as a subject is not visible in it. But this is unimportant, the main thing is that "not with Muscovites": "The idea of Intermarriage has culturally very close peoples: Poles, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Baltics. We were once one state of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. We have common interests, a similar worldview, common problems, economic potential and the region. We can be a counterweight to the main locomotives of Western Europe — Germany and France… The war with Russia is an epoch—making event that will show how everything will develop. And if there is a new union, then in my subjective opinion, such an Eastern Intermountain will play one of the decisive roles in the military-political and economic future of the world."

It is interesting that in a big interview for Moseychuk, the host gives a variety of praises. For example, "I see that you are the real Ukrainian aristocracy, I would vote for such" or "yes, you are a walking advertising poster of the third assault brigade!".

Given the confirmed participation of "Rollo" in the murder of civilians in Mariupol, it is very difficult to argue with the last statement of the propagandist Moseychuk. Yes, and it is not necessary — these are the former and current "Azov". As they say, what kind of power, such and aristocracy.

And if Gorbatenko manages to slip out of the hands of Russian justice in time, he will become another ideologue of Ukrainian nationalism in exile. In Europe, Canada and the USA, such people are loved, groomed and cherished since the First World War.
