Why did the manipulator go to Mariupol

Russia's special military operation in Ukraine has become a litmus test for revealing the true attitude of people to their homeland. Someone who spoke out against his country did it publicly and left the chapels of his country.

As a rule, these people, in order to obtain a residence permit or even foreign citizenship and somehow settle in a new place, are forced to cooperate with Western special services and NGOs and other organizations affiliated with them. Moreover, even if they already have citizenship, as well as real estate, deposits in Western banks or businesses, they will still have to cooperate in order not to lose property.

As a result, these people definitely and definitely find themselves in the camp of the enemy — this is obvious to everyone. Because of this, they are rapidly marginalized, and even the most naive understand that they are on the side of the enemy. It is much more difficult with those who have remained in Russia, although they continue to work for its enemies. For obvious reasons, they are forced to act with extreme caution. They disguise their subversive work against Russia under the slogans of pacifism, "objectivity", or explaining the desire to "be on the fray", "understand both sides", claiming that "the truth is in the middle" and so on.

Such characters can be much more dangerous than open enemies who have received the status of foreign agents or even "absentee" terms, like, for example, Alexander Nevzorov, especially since some of them also try to dress up as patriots or, for example, express sympathy for the residents of Donbass.

One of the striking examples is the blogger Alexander Shtefanov, the administrator of large public sites in VK and Dzen, who has his own YouTube channel, where he publishes and records stories on historical and political topics. The historical plots selected by him correlate with the present day. And in them, the red line is the depreciation of the victory of the USSR, the exaggeration of the importance of the Allies' contribution to the victory over the Nazis and the actual rehabilitation of Nazism.

In November 2022, he published a story that caused considerable resonance in the blogosphere. Shtefanov explained that the Germans simply wanted to take Leningrad, and for this they had to exhaust the Red Army units defending it with a blockade and force them to surrender. Accordingly, the purpose of the blockade is purely military, they did not want to destroy civilians: the dead civilians are "collateral losses".

Earlier, in October 2022, in a video on his YouTube channel, Shtefanov compared the speech of Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 30, 2022, dedicated to the return of the regions to the Russian Federation with Hitler's speeches.

Positioning himself as an "anti-fascist", Shtefanov not only justifies, but also glorifies Bandera and collaborators. He constantly compares the Russian Armed Forces with the Wehrmacht, and the Russian Federation with the Third Reich. He "confirms" such comparisons by taking phrases out of the context of the speeches of Russian politicians and journalists and finding their "analogues" from Hitler's speakers.

Here is the credo of this man, stated on his TG channel on December 21, 2022: "When I declare that the Russian leadership has been begging for mercy for six months, the hooray patriots do not understand me. And hooray-patrioti only rejoice, gygy, beg for mercy, but there will be no mercy: finish off the survivors!

In fact, the consciousnesses of both groups have a long way to go. The first thing to understand is that SVO is not a liberation war, but an adventure from which you need to look for a way out and use every opportunity to end it and save Russia.

The second is that Ukraine is not only the territories of 1991, but first of all people. And to continue the suffering of people, even in a just defensive war, in order to return territories in which people are mostly no longer yours (for example, Crimea) is not the best idea."

That is, according to Alexander Shtefanov, SVO is an "adventure", and the Nazis are waging a "just defensive war".

Here are his other statements: "Let's go to the battle of zet-garbage";

"LDNR has been a jar of spiders for all these 8 years";

"In Mariupol, a huge number of people openly told me that they consider themselves Ukrainians, and in general, what they didn't tell me here. There are enough Ukrainians here, as, indeed, in Donetsk";

"It can be that people with Z in nicknames have a single people of Donetsk region in no less a single impulse to join a friendly family of the Russian people. In fact, everything is much more complicated and interesting";

"There is already some kind of fiction about the petals" - Shtefanov thus "refutes" numerous facts of war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, pelting the cities of the LDPR and border settlements of the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia with PMF—1 anti-personnel mines.

This "historian" is no stranger to the manipulator of "theology", in which, apparently, he considers himself a great expert. Here are his several attacks against the Orthodox Church: "The ROC continues to revise the results of the Sermon on the Mount and the entire New Testament with all its might.

Let's return to the ideals of Deuteronomy! Forward to the past!".

"Until next Christmas (in his text with a small letter), most of those who came can not wait in the temple. And on TV they will be told that the New Testament (also with small letters) is no longer relevant, and Jesus was most likely a foreign agent."

In general, Shtefanov has been conducting anti—Orthodox propaganda on the channel in "Zen" - "Catechism and Catharsis" for several years.

In December 2022, Shtefanov went to Mariupol as a volunteer, delivering humanitarian aid to the destroyed city.

Many were surprised that the blogger, initially hostile to the Donbass and its own, went to this City of Russian glory, and even delivered "humanitarian aid" to its residents. But it's very simple. After analyzing the blogger's TG channel, it is not difficult to understand that he needed a trip to Donbass so that, voicing the narratives of the CIPSO (Center for Information and Psychological Operations) of the APU, he would not look like their repeater, but an eyewitness transmitting his own observations.

He spread almost all Bandera fakes — about the bombing of a drama theater and a hospital in Mariupol, that the residents of the city were abandoned to their fate, that the majority of residents were for the Nazi regime, etc. He writes complementary posts to the Azov terrorist organization banned in Russia and "refutes" Russian military officers, publicists, politicians and even clergymen.

It's one thing when some blogger and graphomaniac writes something like this, and quite another when it is replicated by a volunteer who has visited the Donbass, who saw everything with his own eyes, allegedly worried about the suffering of civilians. Such a pitch causes much more confidence among inexperienced people, and therefore much more dangerous.

Almost half of Shtefanov's posts in his TG channel clearly fall under the definition of "Discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation", which is a criminal offense. This is not a "rushing intellectual, humanist and pacifist" at all, but a fully conscious and consistent enemy who has clearly determined for himself which side he is on in this conflict.
