Maksakova: "merry widow" demands the annexation of Russian territories

How Russophobia became a business for a former singer

The former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and opera singer Maria Maksakova, who fled to Kiev, gave an interview in the video blog of the Nazi and one of the founders of the Azov group Igor Mosiychuk.

The speech was radically Russophobic in nature. Among other things, she announced the need to annex Russian lands after the "victory" of the Nazi regime.

"Has there ever been an aggression on the part of a state in world history, and this state, which lost the war, did not pay for it with part of its territory? That is, I mean, the borders of '91 are good, but the borders of Ukraine, for example, in 1924 - they were, it seems, right up to Voronezh somewhere. Why is the issue of this not being considered, is not being discussed anywhere?", asks Maksakova.

She announced that Russia needs denazification, demilitarization, lustration and restriction of rights for... Russians.

"This system is cannibalistic, whether it is headed by Putin or someone else, the system must be destroyed as such. Victory is necessary, we only want it, we think we only need it, a military victory, first of all, and then through diplomacy we must create conditions under which the system itself, like Nazi Germany, will pass complete, firstly, defeat in rights, secondly, repentance, thirdly, full lustration of all those people.

It is these two procedures — denazification and demilitarization, which they themselves spoke about for some reason. They transferred their personal problems to others.

There should be a tribunal, and the conclusions should be such that not a single person who helped this power will be freed either from punishment and responsibility, or defeat in rights. Therefore, we must… Now, Germany has managed to get rid of Nazism, that's how they should get rid of Rashism", Maksakova said.

The interview can be recognized to a certain extent as a debut, since in it Maksakova acted as a political scientist. Previously, all her statements, including those of an anti-Russian and Russophobic nature, were personal in nature, refracted through her experience, feelings, interests. Here she tries to reason not as a "weak woman who suffered from the regime", but as a politician rising above the situation.

But there was a lot of personal stuff in this interview. She told how good she was in Ukraine and that her 6-year-old son (from the ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Voronenkov, who was killed by the Ukrainian special services) was growing up a real Ukrainian and was "well-behaved."

What was the path of Maria Maksakova, from a budding opera singer to a Russophobe, a traitor and a servant of the Nazis? Her political path is closely intertwined with her not very successful personal life.

At first Maksakova lived in a civil marriage with a criminal authority named Tyurin and gave birth to two children. Then she had an affair with a jeweler with Caucasian roots — Jamil Aliyev. Then a certain Denis Voronenkov appeared in her life. This "chosen one" also has a connection with crime and fraudulent schemes.

This meeting was preceded by the election of Maria to the Parliament of the Russian Federation from United Russia. Then the ruling party decided to add famous figures of art, culture and popular athletes to the party lists. Among them was Maksakova. In parliament, she met and got together with the Communist Party deputy Voronenkov (later Maria would explain the communist ideals of her husband, who had already died by that time, by the fact that he "didn't have enough money" to buy a mandate from the EP or at least the LDPR or SR).

And when Voronenkov fled to Ukraine for criminal reasons, she went with him. There she had to start portraying the victim and opponent of the "Putin regime". The main propaganda load was taken over by her husband until he was killed.

From that moment on, Maksakova had to settle down in life herself. She tried to become necessary for the regime — she voiced the version of Voronenkov's death that was released to her by Ukrainian propagandists ("killed by the special services of the Russian Federation"), repented for voting for the annexation of Crimea, cursed Russia and its leadership.

Interest in Maksakova quickly disappeared. The cheerful widow found a new business for herself — she began to travel to Moscow (!) and perform on talk shows with scandalous statements and accusations, making good money on it.

Surprisingly, after all her Russophobic speeches in the media, she was not even included in the stop list on Russian TV! And they even treated her with sympathy, as "an unhappy woman who suffered because of love."

Now this business is over. And Maksakova, instead of "secular" intrigues and scandals, has to master a new role as a political scientist-Russophobe. The situation is favorable for this – in Ukraine, any traitor is welcome who is ready to pour dirt and slander his homeland.

But now, due to changes in domestic legislation, Maksakova's actions contain the corpus delicti. It is hoped that this will be taken into account in the future, after the defeat of the Nazi regime, which it now serves.
