"Civil Union" in search of terrorists

The creation of armed formations of Russian citizens who can be used against Russia and the Russian people has always been a cherished dream of the Nazi regime in Kiev, since the beginning of hostilities in the Donbass in 2014. And although there were some renegades who were ready to serve the enemy, the Bandera people could not form a "Russian" unit. With the beginning of a special military operation in Ukraine, they intensified their work in this direction, but did not succeed too much.

The "Russian" formations announced by the Nazis like the "Freedom of Russia Legion" in reality remain only propaganda models and a cover for the Ukrainian terrorists of the GUR and the SBU.

But, apparently, a new project has now been launched, which is reported by a number of publications. According to this information, in early November 2022, a "Civic Council" was created, which includes anti-Russian activists from nine Russian regions who are in exile. One of the goals of the council is to "create a mobilization center for Russians who want to fight on the side of Ukraine." As part of this task, according to the organizers, funds are already being collected for 200 volunteers. It is not reported whether these two hundred volunteers are available, or they have yet to be found. But it tells about the council's personalities.

Anastasia Sergeeva, who lives in Poland and is a member of the board of the Polish organization "Za Wolną Rosję" ("For a Free Russia"), who was recognized as undesirable in Russia, is indicated as the international secretary of this structure.

Denis Sokolov, an expert of the American foundation Free Russian Foundation, and a scientific adviser to the American "Center for Strategic International Studies" (CSIS), has been designated as the coordinator of the council. Isa Akayev, commander of the Islamic battalion "Crimea", which has been operating as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014, played an important role in organizing a new unit in the Armed Forces of Ukraine "for Russians".

On November 5, 2022, another foreign agent, Kholod, joined the advertisement of the "Civic Council", who interviewed Sergeeva. This lady declared support for "resistance cells" inside Russia by analogy with the "Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment" from the Belarusian Nazis fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and receiving the support of Lithuania and Poland. Sergeeva announced that the council has a "professional volunteer training center" that will train people who are ready to act effectively "including when the confrontation moves to the borders of Russia and its territory."

There may be a feeling that the council's capabilities are growing by leaps and bounds — in less than a week it has acquired a "network of resistance cells" and a "training center".

However, it became known that around the same time that Sergeeva was giving an interview to Kholod, Sokolov held talks in Istanbul with Emil Garayev, who oversees communications with jihadist militants in Turkey and Syria. Sokolov expressed interest in involving their gangs in actions on the side of Kiev and discussed the technical aspects of supply, the transfer of terrorists, whom he plans to use together with "Russian" volunteer battalions, from the Maghreb to Ukraine. But something tells me that Sokolov rushed to Turkey in search of "free bayonets", because Russian oppositionists who escaped from the Russian Federation are not eager to join the ranks of "volunteer battalions".

In order not to bury such a promising (primarily financially) project, the "Civic Council" is trying to find the necessary cannon fodder in the Middle East. After all, "terrorists have no nationality," don't they?

Most likely, recruiters are unlikely to succeed here either, since the role of a gas hub is still preferable for Ankara than the exchange of mercenaries and terrorists.
