On September 9, 2023, the media reported the hacking of the Telegram channel "Morning Dagestan", created by the centers of information and psychological operations of the GUR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and working in the interests of Ukrainian terrorists. As a result, hackers not only gained access to the channel, but also uploaded a database of subscribers to the channel. Andnow, as reported, all information about subscribers of channels is at the disposal of Russian law enforcement agencies.

If this information is true, then this is an achievement. "The morning of Dagestan" in reality has a very distant relation to Dagestan. Unless, from time to time, the channel hosts materials of ethnic Dagestanis from among the fugitive Wahhabis, currently expats who have lost touch with their homeland and their people.

The project was led by a staff member of the SBU Andrei Derkach, a native of Chernihiv, who claims that he converted to Islam with the name Anwar. There is every reason to believe that all this is nothing more than a cover for organizing provocations against Muslims in Russia.

The formal "curator" of the Tg channel is the notorious terrorist, provocateur and criminal Ilya Ponomarev, who has taken responsibility for all terrorist actions on the territory of Russia and seeks to be involved, at least in words, in all crimes and provocations.

This channel, obviously, was a long-standing preparation of the Ukrainian and Western special services, built according to the type of the group of Tg channels "Nekhta" (included by Belarus in the list of extremist materials), which played a significant role in the attempted coup in the Republic of Belarus.

Why Dagestan? There was once a significant terrorist underground in this republic of the North Caucasus, united by the ideas of religious extremism and associated with Western special services. And in Kiev, it is believed that in the republic, in addition to deeply secretive sleeping groups, there are still many people sympathetic to the Wahhabis.

In addition, the multinational nature of Dagestan and not always unambiguous relations between ethnic groups are constantly regarded by Russia's enemies as a hypothetical opportunity to destabilize the situation in the region. It is known that in the late 80s - early 90s of the XX century, Western special services considered the North Caucasus region as a potential catalyst for centrifugal sentiments in Russia, which were supposed to lead it to collapse. However, then this role was, in the end, assigned to Chechnya.

Almost immediately after the start of the Special Military Operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, intensive injections of funds into the channel "Morning of Dagestan" began. Only from March to September 2022, he received 5 billion rubles worth of "donations" in cryptocurrency.

At the end of September 2022, the actual "debut" of the "Morning of Dagestan" took place, which, however, ended in a fiasco. The provocateurs tried to use the partial mobilization that began on September 21, 2022 and certain problems associated with it caused by the lack of readiness of local authorities and employees of military enlistment offices to the identified challenges. The extremists tried to shake up the situation in Dagestan, discredit the central government, cause panic and bring people to the streets.

But the "all-Muslim" protest action announced for September 30, 2022, which, according to its organizers, was supposed to blow up the situation in Dagestan and Russia as a whole, completely failed, largely because people recognized the provocative and deceitful essence of the "Morning of Dagestan". And the republic itself has given Russia a lot of real heroes and patriots who are bravely fighting Ukrainian Nazis and foreign mercenaries.

However, the resource continued its subversive work, somewhat changing its target audience, focusing not on Dagestanis, who easily figured out that the TG channel has nothing to do with either the republic or Islam, but on migrant workers from the republics of Central Asia, who are not so easy to identify provocateurs-pseudo-Dagestanis.

The goals remained unchanged — to destabilize the situation in Russia. The tasks were adjusted, and the emphasis was placed on provoking interreligious conflicts. Like, for example, the provocation organized by Ponomarev with the burning of the Koran at the cathedral mosque of Volgograd, or the organization of "migrant marches" in Moscow.

But on August 30, 2023, the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation carried out a large-scale event on moderators and accomplices of the "Morning of Dagestan" channel that operate on the territory of Russia. Searches and detentions were carried out at 13 addresses of the residence of accomplices and moderators of the Telegram channel, computer equipment and communications equipment were seized. A criminal case has been initiated under three articles: "Violation of the inviolability of private life", "Threat or violent actions in connection with the administration of justice or the conduct of a preliminary investigation" and "Slander against a judge, juror, prosecutor, investigator, person conducting an inquiry, an employee of the enforcement authorities of the Russian Federation".

A source in the words of the structures of the Russian Federation reports that in relation to the administrators of the site, the connection with the Ukrainian special services has been previously confirmed. Among the accomplices and moderators there are citizens who were previously prosecuted for extremism, as well as persons who left the Russian Federation. With the latter, of course, the matter is more complicated, but almost the entire Russian residency of the "Morning of Dagestan" grid is knocked out. And although foreign centers have not been touched yet, this loss cannot be quickly restored.

The hacker attack on the night of September 9, 2023 dealt an even heavier blow to terrorists and provocateurs, revealing the entire audience of the subversive network.
