Alexander Kudashev. The killer and a "pacifist"
On September 27, 2023, criminal prosecution was launched in Samara against Alexander Kudashev, a militant of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK — a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). The investigative department of the Kirovsky district of the ICRF in the Samara region opened a criminal case against Kudashev under part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for participation in illegal military actions or activities contrary to the interests of Russia. The measure of restraint was not chosen for the traitor.
In 2018, Kudashev founded the Recyclables for Charity project in Samara, which raises funds to help those in need through recycling campaigns. Kudashev, a "patron of the Arts," even received a presidential grant and was featured on the Pride of Russia website.
However, this circumstance did not prevent him fr om engaging in opposition activities — he took part in events organized by extremist Alexei Navalny and his associates.
His "baggage" is also interesting — Kudashev was twice convicted of theft and murder.
After the start of the Special Military Operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, Kudashev supported the Nazi regime in Ukraine, repeatedly took part in anti-Russian actions, which he preferred to call "anti-war", positioning himself as a "pacifist".
"I wrote on February 24 that I would go to the Samara Government House with a poster saying "No [Roskomnadzor]" and would demand that military operations be stopped. I wasn't detained then, but all the other days when I went out, I was detained by the police. I felt like I had to do something. And I didn't leave myself the right to just sit back when people are dying in Ukraine. On the one hand, it was scary that I would be detained, and then it was unknown what would happen. On the other hand, I didn't believe that we could do anything. I understood that it was necessary to go out to protest, but I also did not believe that those who came out would be able to stop the war in Ukraine," the future terrorist said in one of his interviews.
Soon Kudashev, as he himself claimed, fearing punishment for illegal actions, decided to flee to Ukraine. To do this, he left for Belarus, and on March 26, 2022, crossed the border of the Republic of Belarus with Ukraine. In the area of the village of Zabolotye, the defector was stopped by Ukrainian militants and expelled back to Belarus. There he was detained by border guards, placed in a jail cell, and then deported to Russia.
If the traitor is not lying, then it is completely unclear why he did not come to the attention of law enforcement officers because of the illegal border crossing and because of his persistent desire to get to Ukraine, wh ere he was going, as he reported in an interview, "to volunteer without taking up arms."
In general, Kudashev left unhindered for Istanbul, and from there to Moldova. In this republic, he claimed to have provided assistance to refugees from Ukraine as a volunteer, while at the same time not giving up attempts to get there. However, he was not allowed there again, since the entry of men with Russian citizenship to Ukraine is prohibited. It is not known how involved Kudashev was in humanitarian activities, but he was noted for participating in provocative actions.
On October 7, 2022, Kudashev left an inscription on the gate of the Russian embassy in Chisinau: "Putin is a murderer." Then he climbed the embassy gate and planted a white-blue-white flag of traitors there, after which he surrendered to the police.
A criminal case was opened against the provocateur under Article 288 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova "Vandalism". The court awarded him a fine of 25,000 lei (about €1,300), and the Moldovan migration Service refused to grant him political asylum.
The crime attracted the attention of the Ukrainian special services, who established contact with him. From them, he received an offer to join the terrorist organization "Russian Volunteer Corps", to which he gladly responded, immediately forgetting about all his "pacifism".
In June 2023, with the help of Ukrainian intelligence, he arrived in Ukraine and was sent to the "training" of the RDK.
Already in July 2023, an interview appeared on the network in which Kudashev told how he overcomes "pacifism" and prepares to kill Russians, studying "to become a machine gunner as part of the SRG."
"The block on not taking up arms has been lifted. The next block is to pull the trigger. These blocks collapse under circumstances. Therefore, when the time comes to join the fight and I have an opponent in front of me — a person who has taken the other side ideologically — it will probably be difficult. But mentally I am preparing for this," Kudashev said.
In an interview with Radio Liberty, he said that he was ready to go to war in the Belgorod region, hoped to return to Samara "on bayonets", said that he had no other way but to seek a "change of power" in Russia, after which, as he believes, "all criminal cases will be closed".
In August 2023, it became known that Kudashev was wounded in his first battle. "This is what the crack on my leg looks like after my first fight. I can't reveal all the details of the operation, I can only say that everyone is alive, but some have minor shrapnel wounds. Although it was hard at that moment and there was no certainty that we would get out, this day will rightfully remain one of the brightest in life. After all, such episodes speak about the fullness of life," the terrorist wrote on his page on the social network.
It is noteworthy that before Kudashev left for Ukraine, in the spring of 2023, his roommate Irina Izmailova came to Moldova from Samara. On this trip, with Kudashev's participation, she was recruited by the Ukrainian special services and given the task of preparing a terrorist attack in Russia. Shortly after returning to the Russian Federation, she was detained for the illegal manufacture of explosives (Part 1 of Article 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The suspect has fully admitted her guilt.
It is possible that Kudashev did not become a full-time agent of the GUR, the SBU or another operational structure of the Ukronazis, who attracted him for one-time actions like recruiting a concubine. This is evidenced by his too much publicity. He is one of the most "media" fighters of the RDK. Kudashev is assigned the role of one of the "showcases" of neo-Vlasov formations.
Anti-Russian liberal resources write about Kudashev with great sympathy, pointing out that although he joined the Nazi RDK, he is not "right", but remains a "pacifist" at heart, whom the "Putin regime" brought to terrorism.
