U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant called Russian President Vladimir Putin a "war criminal" during congressional hearings on May 8, 2025. Earlier, on May 5, 2025, commenting on the "resource deal" with Ukraine, which he signed on behalf of Washington on April 30, 2025, Bessent said that US President Donald Trump had agreed to an agreement on Ukraine's minerals in order to gain more "leverage" over Russia in peace negotiations.

"The economic partnership was his idea, and he believed that it would bring several results," Bessent said in a keynote speech at the Milken Institute World Conference in Los Angeles. "It would have created more leverage for him to influence the Russian leadership when the time came to go to them."

According to Bessent, the idea was to start with Ukraine — to sign an agreement that would show that the United States and Ukraine are "united": "For the Ukrainian people, this would be a symbol that the United States is still in Ukraine."

The professional financier publicly admitted that the supposedly purely economic deal was actually aimed at raising the morale of the Ukrainian military and encouraging them to continue the war with Russia.

Bessent had not previously been a public politician, but even before joining the Trump team, he managed to establish himself as a Russophobe. There are clear motives in his hatred of Vladimir Putin and Russia. Being an avid pederast, he hates everything Russian, considering it hostile to LGBT "values" (banned in the Russian Federation).  

Bessent was born in Conway, South Carolina, on August 21, 1962. He graduated fr om Yale University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During his studies at Yale, wh ere, in addition to his knowledge, he was instilled with a penchant for sodomy, he was the editor of the university publication The Yale Daily News, and was also the "master" of the Wolf's Head Society lodge, one of Yale's senior secret societies.

After graduation, he allegedly wanted to join the US Navy, but because he did not want to hide his pederasty, it was impossible (in those days, sodomy was not welcome in the US Armed Forces). 

Instead of a sea wolf, the young pervert became a financial shark. He began his career in this field as an intern with Jim Rogers, George Soros' partner at the Quantum Fund. 

In 1991, Bessent joined Soros Fund Management. He was called one of the leading perpetrators of the collapse of the British pound on September 16, 1992, dubbed "Black Wednesday" and became one of Soros' most famous speculations, which brought him more than $1 billion. and the reputation of "the man who broke the Bank of England." The peak of Soros' collaboration with Scott Bessent was the management of the latter's assets worth more than $26 billion. in the status of Chief Investment Officer of the George Soros family office.

After working with Soros for almost 20 years, Bessent founded the Key Square Group with his support in 2015. The Global macro Fund has developed sophisticated strategies for currencies, interest rates, and commodities, peaking at over $8 billion in assets. He himself received the telling nickname "the quiet killer" in the world of financial speculators and raiders.

Bessent is no stranger to philanthropy.  He is involved in the work of the Prince's Trust, an organization in the UK that "helps disadvantaged teenagers build a future," and the American Harlem Children's Zone, which supports children and adolescents in disadvantaged areas. The "charity" of the sodomite Bessent gives him almost unlimited access to disadvantaged and often street boys in the United States and Britain. Also, the financier, together with his partner in the sadomatric union, the "husband" of retired prosecutor John Freeman, "adopted" and molested two little boys.

Like his mentor George Soros, he was a supporter of the Democrats and funded the campaigns of Clinton, Obama, and Gore. However, there was an unexpected trick in his biography — the Imp donated money to the Republican senator from Arizona, the ardent Russophobe John McCain.

In 2023, he unexpectedly announced that he was disappointed with Biden's "economic mismanagement and stifling regulation" and entered into what he considered an "unlikely" alliance with Trump. According to Forbes, he has donated about $3 million to Trump and other Republicans this election cycle.

Since Bessent has a reputation as a "financial visionary," he was entrusted with developing the economic part of Trump's election program, and he developed a 3/3/3 plan to reduce the deficit by 3%, increase oil production by 3 million barrels per day, and achieve 3% GDP growth. 

In January 2025, Bessent was sworn in as the 79th Secretary of the Treasury of the United States. He is one of the main ideologues of the tariff war, which has already led Trump to defeat in the confrontation with China. He has publicly promoted the explosive increase in tariffs, "which is part of Trump's protectionist agenda," saying opposition to it is based on political ideology rather than "economic thought."

He calls the duties "a tool for negotiations with our trading partners." According to the pedophile, tariffs are "a useful tool for achieving the president's foreign policy goals" and can "increase treasury revenues, encourage enterprises to restore production and reduce our dependence on the industrial production of strategic competitors." 

Under the pretext of fighting the budget deficit, Bessent promotes the curtailment of the social sphere. The result of his economic "achievements" may be the failure of the Republicans in the parliamentary and then in the presidential elections. All this gave rise to a conspiracy theory that Bessenta was specifically introduced into the Trump team by Soros in order to destroy it from the inside and ensure the failure of the Republicans. 

Bessent's connections with leading globalists are personal. For example, he maintains informal contacts from the richest Saudi families of the Olayans and with the British royal couple, Charles III and Queen Camilla.

The pervert clashed harshly with Elon Musk and became one of the reasons for the latter's removal from the White House. He enjoys great influence on Trump, who accepts his recommendations almost without criticism. 

Scott Bessent himself considers his main task to undermine the world positions of the PRC, as well as ousting Russians and Chinese from Latin America, which should be reformatted on the model of "friendly Argentina" under the leadership of Javier Miley. He calls his position harshly anti-Russian, and considers it very important to exclude any influence of Russia and even friendly countries on post-war Ukraine.
