Lyudmila Denisova: an accomplice in the war with Russia

Lyudmila Denisova: an accomplice in the war with Russia

From corrupt to accomplice in war crimes

Former Ukrainian ombudswoman Lyudmila Denisova played an active role in the psychological war waged against the Russian Federation, of course, to the detriment of her direct duties. From her «achievements» the following can be mentioned:

- spreading fakes about Russian prisoners of war and their numbers. She blocked the access of representatives of international organizations to them, and also ignored the facts of their murders and torture and violations of the rights provided for by the Geneva Conventions.;

- active participation in the creation and dissemination of fakes about the "war crimes" of Russian troops in Bucha and other settlements of the Kyiv region;

- ignoring the appeals of Ukrainian citizens about their rights being violated, including by Ukrainian authorities, law enforcement agencies and militants of the so-called territorial defense;

- in particular, she refused to take control of the murder of a 12-year-old boy in the Zhytomyr region by militants of the territorial defense;

- ignoring, but the actual approval of the facts of the use of the civilian population by the Ukrainian security forces as a "human shield";

- ignoring the actual refusal of the central and regional authorities of the Ukrainian regime to organize evacuation measures;

- refusal to protect the rights of people who have lost their homes, and relatives of the dead military personnel, in respect of which state bodies do not fulfill their obligations;

- refusal to consider the facts of rocket and artillery strikes by Ukrainian  forces on residential buildings, hospitals, schools and kindergartens, as well as other crimes committed against the civilian population of Ukraine;

- refusal to protect the rights of people subjected to repression by the Nazi regime, including representatives of opposition parties, independent journalists and political scientists, Orthodox believers, people who have relatives in Russia and Belarus, representatives of national minorities.

And this is not a complete list of Denisova's deeds.

The post of "commissioner for human rights" under the Kiev government is, of course, an oxymoron. However, she was not content with the role of a “showcase”, but was an active accomplice to the crimes of the Kyiv regime, not only official, but also military, and crimes against humanity.

How did this intelligent woman come to this?

Knowledgeable people characterize Lyudmila Denisova as one of the most cynical and unscrupulous corrupt officials of the current regime. She is known for stealing the money of the elderly, orphans, veterans and the disabled, she is also known for her connections with criminals and in power structures, who more than once saved her from criminal prosecution and moved her up the career ladder.

She came to the post of "Ombudswoman" as a protege of Arsen Avakov, but after his resignation she retained her post, which indicates that Denisova managed to defect to the opposite camp, distancing herself from her yesterday's patron.

What is known about her life path? The current defender of Ukrainian independence and an ardent Russophobe, ethnic Russian, as you can guess from her last name. However, this is the husband's surname.

Her maiden name is Ankudinova, and she was born on July 6, 1960 in Arkhangelsk, in a simple family, without any connections and special prospects. After graduating from the 8th grade, she entered a teacher training college, where she mastered the profession of a kindergarten teacher and was assigned to the far north, the village of Andeg. (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug). But after a few months, she somehow managed to transfer to Arkhangelsk, where she worked for another year in her specialty. At this time, she met her future husband - the future military lawyer (at that time a cadet) Alexander Denisov. Although he was a year younger than Lyudmila, his parents "liked" her - not the last people in the Soviet law enforcement system, and they assigned the future daughter-in-law as a court secretary. Two years later, the former teacher headed the office of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court. They also helped Denisova get her law degree from Leningrad State University. During her studies, Lyudmila had two children, in 1985 - daughter Elena, in 1987 - daughter Alexandra.

In her last years of study, Denisova became a consultant to the Arkhangelsk Regional Court. And in 1989, the husband's parents succeeded in transferring their son from the cold Arkhangelsk to the warm Crimea, where they had the necessary connections and prepared a "base" in order to realize the dream of the "northerners" - to move to the south after retiring.

In a new place, Denisova was assigned as a legal consul to the Crimean Regional Committee of the Komsomol, where she began to develop personal connections. She became close to the second secretary of the regional committee, Andrei Senchenko, and another Komsomol official, Sergei Velizhansky, who later became prominent figures in the criminal and business life of Crimea (In those days, there was not much difference between these directions).

After 1991 and the declaration of independence by Ukraine, the Denisov family did not return to Russia, but decided to stay in Crimea. The husband retired a few years later, heading the small enterprise «Olivie» and the Crimean representative office of the Fund for the Disabled of Regional Conflicts and special forces units. From that moment on, Lyudmila turned into the main earner in the family and expanded the scope of her activity.

Since 1989, the Crimean Komsomol has been actively involved in the cooperative movement, and Denisova was incredibly fascinated and captured by the work of organizing business schemes, often shady, to create cafes, video salons, discos in the all-Union health resort.

With the dissolution of the Komsomol, the triumvirate did not disintegrate, but, on the contrary, expanded its area of activity. Velizhansky devoted himself entirely to business, Senchenko became chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs under the Council of Ministers of Crimea (1991-93), and then vice-premier of the Crimean government (1993-97). Denisova, on the other hand, took the post of HR inspector of the Crimean Department of the Pension Fund, and soon found herself in the "bread" post of deputy head of the department for receipt of funds and commercial activities. So there is nothing surprising that two years later she headed the Crimean Department of the Pension Fund. Sources reported that she owed her new career not only to Senchenko, but also to some friends of her husband, as well as to her personal acquaintances in the leadership of the autonomy.

Denisova did not show much ingenuity in robbing old people. She used the standard schemes for that time. The simplest is that pension money was delayed and scrolled through commercial structures. Delays sometimes reached several months, and taking into account inflation, pensioners received in reality completely different amounts. Another way to take money from the most defenseless was the system of “set-offs”, when people were given a pension or part of a pension with food. This was done with significantly inflated prices.

At the beginning of the 90s, she began to actively interact with the influential crime group «Salem» in the Crimea, who covered her projects. As a result, Denisova found herself at the epicenter of a gang war, the victims of which were not only mafiosi and "commerce", but also several officials. In those same years, she almost went to jail. But she got out, thanks to the patronage of the then head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Crimea, Gennady Moskal.

Already in 1998, having secured the patronage of Sergei Kunitsyn, she headed the Crimean Ministry of Finance, where she "became famous" as the organizer of the actual mini-default in Crimea, refusing to make payments on bonds issued in 1996-99 by the Crimean government. In this case, Kunitsyn, and his accomplices, including Denisova, "raised" 495163000 hryvnia.

After that, Lyudmila Leontyevna had already actually entered the pre-trial detention center on the personal order of the prosecutor of the autonomous republic, Vladimir Shuba. But she did not stay there for long - Leonid Kuchma himself intervened in the matter. Denisova was released and returned to her previous position, and Shuba was sent from the Crimea to Dnepropetrovsk.

Under Valery Gorbatov, who replaced Kunitsyn, Denisova moved to the position of head of the Department of the State Treasury of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. But after the return of Kunitsyn, who probably considers her a traitor, she was expelled from the government and, retaining her post as a deputy of the Supreme Council of Crimea, went headlong into business. Soon she came into contact with Yulia Tymoshenko, and was elected on the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc list to the Verkhovna Rada in 2006 and 2007. And in December 2007, Lyudmila Denisova became the Minister of Labor and Social Policy in the Tymoshenko government, where she received the nickname «Lyudochka- Lyudoedka» where Lyudoedka means «Cannibal».

She earned this nickname for numerous schemes to rob the unemployed, the disabled and orphans. The most famous case was the purchase of wheelchairs at exorbitant prices. The case received publicity, the Security Service of Ukraine took care of it, and Denisova almost “went” again. But she did not calm down, and was soon accused of stealing budget funds to feed the children of Chernobyl. But it worked out again.

Based on her status, Denisova, together with old friends Velizhansky and Senchenko, organized a series of raider captures of sanitary-resort facilities in the Crimea.

The coming to power of Yanukovych seriously undermined the position of Denisova, she lost her post as a minister and failed to be elected to the Crimean Parliament, but two years later she was again in the Verkhovna Rada, according to the list of BYuT. Then there was her rapprochement with Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Arsen Avakov. It was in their company that Denisova appeared on the Maidan, where she outlined her ministerial claims. In February 2014, she again took the chair of the Minister of Social Policy. And again she found herself at the center of a scandal around a tender for the nutrition of sick children from Chernobyl.

In the summer of 2014, Denisova, together with Yatsenyuk and Avakov, left the BYuT, joining the "Popular Front". According to the list of the PF, she was elected to the Verkhovna Rada, where for three years she headed the Committee on Social Policy and Pension Reform.

In March 2018, Lyudmila Denisova was elected as the new Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada (Ombudsman).

In her new post, Denisova made an absolutely noble and fair demand - to pay the residents of the LDNR (Lugansk and Donetsk people's republics) the pensions they earned. Has the old unprincipled corrupt woman corrected herself, and has her conscience awakened?  Considering her rich "retirement" experience and the fact that she started with this topic, one can not doubt her true motivation. But "cash in" on this issue did not work. And Denisova began to master the role of the information war, which was new for her, demonstrating fierce Russophobia.

One of her debut tasks was the inspection of Russian places of deprivation of liberty for the conditions of detention of convicted citizens of Ukraine. She was not at all interested in ordinary offenders - the focus was on terrorists and extremists.

Denisova really became famous after February 24, 2022. The Commissioner for Human Rights of the DPR, Daria Morozova, spoke about one of the aspects of the activities of her Ukrainian colleague.

"The Ukrainian Ombudsman not only ignores the critical situation with the rights of prisoners of war in Ukraine, but also deliberately diverts the attention of the international community from the criminal actions of Kyiv nationalists. Thus, Lyudmila Denisova left without due reaction the egregious facts of executions of captured participants  of a special military operation in the Kharkov and Kyiv regions and extremist statements by radicals on these incidents. Instead, violating the fundamental principles of the work of a human rights defender, she replicates untrue reports of allegedly ill-treatment of captured representatives of the AFU", - wrote in her Telegram channel Daria Morozova.

Denisova has been and is engaged in accusing Russia of preparing a "Holodomor" by allegedly exporting grain from Ukraine. In fact, the  regime  of Zelensky is doing this, while Russia brings thousands of tons of humanitarian aid to the liberated areas — groceries and essentials, and also assists local entrepreneurs in the organization of trade, including food.

Mrs. Denisova was the owner and co-owner of the commercial companies «Triora», "Firm D.E.V.», "TD Krymzhelezobeton», «Sevastopolmarineservice», "Astoria City», "Machine-building plant Avtolivmash», Corporation «Gumateks", cooperative «Batiliman», and other enterprises operating in the Crimea. According to Ukrainian media reports, she still owns all this.

This information needs serious verification. The latter position allowed Denisova to turn from an ordinary criminal into an accomplice in war crimes and into a potential defendant of the International Tribunal, which, of course, will take place.
