Personal revenge of Veronika Netunaeva

Personal revenge of Veronika Netunaeva

The former official wanted to blow up the city with the help of the SBU

On July 18, 2023, a local resident Veronika Netunaeva was detained by the FSB in the city of Uglich, Yaroslavl region.

On the same day, the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of the Russian Federation succinctly reported that "as a result of the events held in Uglich, a Russian citizen born in 1987 was detained, who, on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine, collected and transmitted information about one of the objects of the critical infrastructure of the region in order to commit a terrorist attack."

A little later, the details of what happened became known, information about the detainee appeared and her motivation became known.

Netunaeva was born in 1987 in Norilsk. She lived in Uglich. Since 2017, she has worked in the city administration as a consultant in the legal department.

However, this prestigious and very high-status position, especially for a small provincial town, did not quite satisfy Veronica, who, apparently, is a lady with a fantasy, which follows, for example, from such unusual attributes for an official as a tattoo on the back of her neck and piercing.

Believing herself to be a creative person, Netunaeva posted her questionnaires on several platforms for actors and models looking for castings and offers. But it is not known about her other achievements in the field of show business, except for attempts to create her portfolio.

But it is known that in 2021 Veronika sued for non-payment of utilities — also quite an unusual situation for an official.

In the fall of 2022, Netunaeva was dismissed due to staff cuts. Almost immediately, she began suing her former employer, demanding to recognize the dismissal as illegal and reinstate her in her former position. She tried to prove that her rate was cut intentionally because she had a conflict with one of the administration officials. Netunaeva wanted to sue the salary for downtime in the amount of more than 110 thousand rubles and moral compensation of 50 thousand rubles. However, the court refused to satisfy these requirements.

And this event was a turning point in her life. Veronica now wanted not to restore justice in the form in which she imagined it, but to take revenge not only on those who had done her "unfairly", but on everyone around her.

Veronika established contact with the SBU, which she considered a good helper in her decision. Whether he herself managed to get to the "careless", or the Bandera agents managed to figure out the "offended" woman from posts in social networks, or somehow else, the investigation will find out. But the fact is that the contact was established. And Netunaeva began preparing for a terrorist attack, which was supposed to be a punishment for the city that had treated her wrongly.

The former official wanted the hydroelectric power station to be blown up with her help, and the city where her abusers live would be washed away as well as towns and cities in the Kherson region, after the Nazis blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. In correspondence with the Ukrainian curator, Veronika said that she dreams of Nazi UAV strikes deep into Russia so that the Russians "understand."

The matter was not limited to correspondence and a declaration of intentions — on the instructions of the Nazi special service, Netunaeva even conducted a reconnaissance of the object and filming approaches to it. During this occupation, she herself was recorded, having got on the security cameras of the hydroelectric power station.

Fortunately, not only for the residents of Uglich, but also for Veronika herself, she failed to realize her plan. Not because she repented, but because she was detained by FSB officers. A criminal case has been initiated against her under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and she faces up to 20 years in prison.

Liberal anti-Russian resources have already declared Netunaeva a "political prisoner" and a "prisoner of conscience", having started raising funds to support her, in particular to pay for the services of a lawyer.

A non-human, because of a personal grudge, who not only betrayed the Motherland, but also was going to destroy a city with a population of 32 thousand people, is for them a "victim of the regime" and a "heroine".

In addition, an extremely important fact characterizing the mental and moral state of the so-called opposition, it should also be noted how quickly and unmistakably the SBU and GUR operatives find such embittered and damaged people and recruit them.
