Khamatova. Real estate of the scammer in Latvia
There was information in the Latvian press that Chulpan Khamatova, who fled to Riga from Russia after the start of the special operation, is facing deportation. Latvia is tightening immigration laws, and the presence of real estate will not help Khamatova to extend her residence permit. By September 1, 2023, the actress must pass an exam in the Latvian language, otherwise she will be forcibly taken to land border checkpoints. Or she will have to make even more active accusations against Russia in order to work out the opportunity to live in the European Union.
According to Khamatova's colleagues from the Theater of Nations, the actress was tortured by the organizers of anti-Russian rallies and actions at which she is obliged to speak, demonstrating her loyalty. At the same time, there is a complete failure in the career. In an interview, Khamatova talked about her plans to leave the profession. Although more recently she shone in films and on the Russian theater stage. Being one of the highest-paid actresses, she received state awards, titles and millions from the state budget: only in 2021, the actress signed support agreements in the amount of 17.3 million rubles.
Another source of income for Khamatova in the Russian Federation was the fund for children with cancer "Give life". Since 2006, the actress has been the face of a charity organization, she was perceived as the savior of children's lives, but over time, unpleasant details of her activities began to appear. Mikhail Bondarev, who was on the board of the foundation from the very beginning, told about how Khamatova brought manager Grigory Mazmanyants to the organization. He appointed his chief accountant to control all financial receipts. The fund grew, the turnover increased significantly, and it was clear that not all the money was recorded in the official accounts. In October 2013, Bondarev sent a letter to the members of the Management Board. In it, he reported that "the management of the fund continues regular illegal payments to individual members of the Board, and, quite likely, not only to them." Moreover, the management "beyond the control of the Board receives and disposes of very significant amounts of money, services and goods." These operations are often not reflected in official reports, protocols, any internal and external documents.
According to actress and TV presenter Yana Poplavskaya, the foundation received $ 1 million each month, but not all the money went to the treatment of children with cancer. Individual amounts "disappeared" somewhere without documentary evidence. There were cases when the parents of young patients themselves refused the services of the foundation (or were refused), while the documents indicate that all the funds received went to treatment. According to the reports, more than 10% of all expenses were allocated for the maintenance of the fund. So, in December 2022, 10.95 million rubles were spent on salaries and bonuses, which is more than 10% of all expenses. For donation — 20 times less.
Publicist Mikhail Shakhnazarov, refers to people personally familiar with Khamatova, who claim that part of the funds received by the charity fund were transferred to the actress. And Khamatova, who complained about the lack of money in Latvia, left Russia with €1 million. A similar amount is reported by the Telegram channel "Antiskrepa", but only obtained at the expense of other frauds.
In 2012, Mayakovsky LLC, whose founders were Khamatova and her husband Alexander Stein, received about 100 million rubles from the Ministry of Culture, the Cinema Foundation and other sponsors for "shooting a film about Mayakovsky." The picture was shot, but it did not pay off — the session was attended by 11 thousand viewers, box office receipts amounted to 3 million rubles. At the same time, according to the financial statements, at the turn of 2020-2021, 83 million rubles (€1 million) disappeared from the balance sheet assets "mysteriously".
Khamatova herself pretends that she did not prepare for departure in advance. She just had a tantrum after the start of the special operation in Ukraine. "The first days I was rushing around, thinking what should I do," she recalled. On March 21, 2022, Khamatova moved to Latvia, where she built a country house worth € 400 thousand in advance (at local rates — a huge figure) and received a residence permit. "I'm afraid to come back so as not to lose my conscience and myself," said the actress, who has not said a word against the shelling of Donbass and the killing of children since 2014.
Before leaving, Khamatova signed a letter to the "intelligentsia" with accusations against Russia, in order, according to her, not to be able to "stay here." The appeal claimed that there are no Nazis in Ukraine. There are no them in Latvia either, according to Khamatova, the processions of Latvian SS legionnaires do not matter. Moreover, it is to her that such words belong: "For example, I hate the Great Patriotic War, I cannot be proud of it. For me, this is pain, blood and suffering not only of the Russian people, but also of the German, soldiers and civilians of other countries."
Having settled in Latvia, Khamatova continued to earn money from Russian fans who sent her finances, as the actress complained of lack of money, which did not prevent her from buying apartments in Riga. And then sponsorship decreased significantly, as Khamatova actively worked out the Western agenda, pouring out a powerful stream of dirt and lies against Russia at rallies, social networks and on television.
In an interview with her friend Ekaterina Gordeeva, a foreign agent, she declared the title of People's Artist "some kind of Soviet nonsense", which she never took seriously: "If they take it away, I will give it back." She said that she had never supported the "bloody regime", and after the plane crash on July 17, 2014, when Ukrainians shot down a Malaysian Boeing 777 over Donbass, it became obvious to her that "we are to blame for this." But this did not prevent Khamatova from receiving the state prize from Putin's hands in 2015 with a satisfied look (which is well displayed on the video of the event).
In April 2022, Khamatova gave an interview to the Latvian presenter of the YouTube show "Kultur deva" Henrietta Verkhoustinska, where she fantasized about the "terrible repressions" that her colleagues in Moscow are subjected to, about beatings for refusing to hang the letter Z on the facade of theaters. And then she asked: "So now I have to say every day what I have already said?". And I received an affirmative answer.
Khamatova continued to make anti-Russian speeches and fakes. In February 2023, she gave an interview to foreign agent Mikhail Zygar (former editor—in-chief of Dozhd - media-foreign agent), in which she tried to present herself as a long-standing and consistent "fighter against the Kremlin regime." The long story of the actress, replete with obscene language, was devoted to how she despised the Russian government all her life and constantly demonstrated it. For example, in 2006 she came to the Kremlin for the award ceremony in an old sundress and a torn jacket, which displeased President Vladimir Putin. At one of the events, she did not take pictures with Putin, and the president had to go down to the hall to take a picture. Another time, Khamatova threw away the phone that the president called her.
The actress claimed that she came to the awards ceremony only to get help for sick children. And the award of 5 million rubles, which she received from Putin in 2015, Khamatova took only in order to transfer to the "Gift of Life". But, according to the reports, from 2015 to 2021, a one-time amount of 5 million rubles was not received by the fund. But by 2017, the "house in the village" was completed, as the actress calls her Latvian mansion.
At the same time, Khamatova said that the foundation had never had anything to do with the state, had not received a single penny, not a single grant. But this lie is refuted by the statements of the director of the foundation Ekaterina Shergova, who advised to direct public money directly to the treatment of children, and singer Nikolai Baskov that the fund also existed on state grants and subsidies.
In an interview with Zygyr, Khamatova said that in 2011 she wanted to take part in liberal protests on Bolotnaya Square, but her foundation colleagues persuaded her to support Putin's candidacy. The actress also told about how she suffered because she signed a letter in 2014 against the reunification of Crimea with Russia. Although right after that she was awarded the state prize. And three years later they offered another one, but she refused in protest against the criminal case against director Kirill Serebryannikov, who had squandered budget funds.
Stories about the "underground war" with the Russian authorities did not help Khamatova. At first, she was received with delight in Latvia, invited to the troupe of the New Riga Theater, she was recognized as the actress of the year for her role in the anti-Russian play Post Scriptum. But it turned out that this was her only job, and that one was put on pause. It was planned that the actress would play the main role in the play based on Natalia Vorozhbit's play "Bad Roads" about the events of 2014 in Donbass. However, the playwright banned actors from Russia from participating in the production. The next performance with the participation of Khamatova "Gogol. Still Life" (Gogolis. Nature Morte) was canceled on February 27, 2023, the day before the premiere and with a humiliating wording — "creative failure". For the New Riga Theater, this situation is absolutely unprecedented, as well as for Khamatova. But traitors are not loved anywhere.
Left without a job, the actress was forced to go on tour to Georgia, where she negotiated with the head of the Russian Drama Theater in Tbilisi, Nikolai Sventitsky. She played in the musical and poetic play "Orpheus", but her collaboration ended there. According to the press secretary of the institution Ekaterina Panjikidze, Khamatov was not invited to work in the theater. And the actress went on tour in the UAE. On March 23, she played the play "Dreams of the Piano" in Dubai. According to the Platinumlist resource, the organizers have not been able to sell more than 200 tickets. Khamatova had to perform in front of a half-empty hall.
Khamatova takes on any job, has hired an agent in the United States, but her acting projects are collapsing one after another and one can only yearn for the sold-out houses that the Russian audience spoiled her with. However, as Vladimir Tolstoy, adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, said, "Khamatova has no place in Russia." She understands this perfectly well and has turned her attention back to "charity", works for the American foundation Podari.Life. At the same time, Khamatova does not hesitate to admire the work of the American billionaire Bill Gates foundation, its "help" to African countries in vaccination (it does not matter that scientists have proven that the drug used dramatically reduces the birth rate of the population).
In addition, Khamatova receives a "salary" from Western sponsors for mediation. On January 26, 2023, she founded a commercial company in Latvia "Chulpan", the activities of which are not disclosed. According to the Kompromat portal, the authorized capital amounted to €2,800, the opening fee was another €250. Apparently, a potential scenario for using a new company may be to conduct cash grants through it.
The "oppositionists" who left Russia for the purposes of conspiracy practice opening such firms, as a rule, in Georgia, the Baltic States or the USA. On the accounts of their companies, they receive funds from Western sponsors for further anti-Russian activities.
