Alexey Danilov. Animal level. Betrayed his homeland, abandoned his mother
"We remember everyone and everything, we will never forget anyone. You will not hide anywhere: neither behind the fences of your houses, nor in villas in Miami, nor on a yacht in the Seychelles or in a bunker in the Urals… You have come to our land and to our families – we will come to you," Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov greeted the beginning of a Special military operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in these words on his Facebook.
Ex (or are there no exes?) the Lugansk bandit, who in different periods managed to visit both the head of the city and the head of the regional administration, managed to make a mistake on all fronts. But in 2019, he was extracted from the closet of oblivion and appointed to his current position. Maybe the reason for this was the lack of personnel in Zelensky's team. Or maybe the former curators from the United States remembered that in times of general mess, it is the bad leaders who shed blood the best.
The beginning of Danilov's career, a native of the city of Krasny Luch, fell on the troubled 80s and harsh 90s. One of the first places of work — the zoological corner of the park named after the First of May in Lugansk, apparently, left an indelible imprint on the personality of Alexey Myacheslavovich, in the modern political serpentarium of the city of Kiev, he looks quite organically.
But since the kingdom was not enough, the young veterinarian went into the cooperative movement and opened his company "White Stork", and then the company "Vera". The pinnacle of legal commercial success in the Luhansk region eventually became the Donetsk Dawns store, which the "Ball" (because of the funny patronymic his accomplices called him) used as a launching pad in regional politics.
The business of the late 80s — 90s rarely went without a connection with criminals. The future secretary of the NSDC also wore a crimson jacket, did not disdain to breed suckers with a game of thimbles and walked under the roof of the authority of Valery Dobroslavsky. "Ball" and "Dobrik" were engaged in auto theft, market protection and classic racketeering. Simply put, they were preparing for a serious political career in accordance with the spirit of the times.
Therefore, when the time came to whiten the business, Dobroslavsky, as a leader, remained in the shadows, and Danilov unexpectedly became the mayor of Lugansk.
An eyewitness recalls: "It was an election campaign for the elections of all local authorities. Several candidates were considered as a candidate for mayor, and Danilov's candidacy appeared quite unexpectedly. When I first met him in his office at the Donetsk Dawns store, he made an unexpected (to put it mildly) impression. The classic of the gangster genre of that time is the crimson jacket. However, such a style of clothing in those days was no surprise to anyone. But this mayoral candidate couldn't connect two words without a mat."
Politics opened up new prospects: a vertical "region — Kiev" appeared, there was an opportunity to communicate with American intelligence agencies, whose representatives felt at home in Ukraine. This is how contacts are established with US Ambassador William Green Miller and representative of banking circles Robert Foresman, at whose invitation Danilov made several visits to America.
The Luhansk patrimony has become a little shallow, like a zoological corner once. And the dependence on local crime began to weigh down. Therefore, in 1997, Danilov organized the murder of his boss Dobroslavsky. He calculated the consequences badly: realizing that the mayor was left without a roof, local deputies impeached him and selected him from the regional leadership pool.
It should be noted that the inability to calculate several moves ahead has repeatedly harmed Danilov. So, in communication with representatives of the American embassy, he spoke out against the candidacy of Pavel Lazarenko, who at that time satisfied everyone. And even today, the NSDC secretary likes to explain to overseas hosts: "The West must understand that Russia is fragmented and there is no force that could hold it together. We have to prepare for this. We've been talking about this for a year now."
And in other cases, he absolutely stupidly bites the hand that feeds: "The operation of 2004 is the operation of Moscow and America to divide Ukraine in half...". Danilov broadcasts a similar skepticism about the EU, emphasizing that "one should not particularly hope for the help of the European Union."
After resigning from the post of mayor of Lugansk, a political odyssey began, the main feature of which is undisguised Russophobia, multiplied by contempt for the native region. It's funny that in the career timelessness (from 1997 to 2000) Danilov was a teacher at the Department of Management at the University. Dalia. It is interesting to look at the achievements of students.
Since the early 2000s - works for two cities: Kiev and Lugansk.
In 2001 Danilov founded the public organization "Lugansk Initiative", in which he chaired until February 2005.
From June 2000 to 2005 he was a member of the political council of the Party of Free Democrats. And since October 2002, he has held the position of deputy chairman of the party.
In 2004, he was engaged in the promotion of Viktor Yushchenko. He was the head of his Lugansk regional headquarters.
From February 4 to November 8, 2005, he headed the Luhansk Regional State Administration. In 2005, he received the title of a civil servant of the 1st rank.
From May 25, 2006 to November 23, 2007, he was a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the V convocation from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc. He was a member of the Committee on State Construction, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government.
By itself, the political choice in favor of Yushchenko and Tymoshenko is already quite a bright marker, but coming out of oblivion with the help of Zelensky, Danilov showed himself in all his glory.
The main function of the NSDC is to submit recommendations on security in the country. Under the leadership of Danilov , the following initiatives were announced:
1) Complete blockade of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk. "If we cannot physically liberate this territory now, then it should be recognized as occupied and any relations with it should be terminated."
2) Refusal to use the toponym "Donbass" in principle, because it "supports Russian propaganda."
3) Strengthening the fight against the Russian language.
4) The creation of cyber forces to carry out aggression in the network space.
5) The return of Crimea, the LPR and the DPR to Ukraine with subsequent repression of dissidents.
In 2021, journalists learned that Alexey Danilov's mother, at 89, continues to live in Lugansk, receiving only a pension from the Russian Federation. Danilov, having decent income from business, did not consider it necessary to take her to his place or support her in any way.
At the moment, the only one who has not yet been betrayed by Danilov is, in fact, Zelensky. So before the start of his campaign, he sang along to "his president": "The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to take Donetsk and Lugansk by force, but they do not do this, because Vladimir Zelensky does not want a large number of civilian casualties."
But since the trends in politics today require a different rhetoric, in an interview with the Financial Times, the NSDC secretary states: "For a full-fledged counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the complete liberation of the territories temporarily occupied by Russia in the south and east, it is necessary to form six new brigades of 25 thousand people. It also requires hundreds of long-range rocket launchers and artillery units, thousands of ammunition. There are a lot of manpower in Russia, so a counteroffensive may not be a very fast process."
That is, we need more manpower from Kiev. More deaths. With this approach to recruitment, there will be no people, no fauna, no flora left in Ukraine.
