Vadim Petrov. A recruited traitor. The novice terrorist

The champion of the "Baltic independence" learns the craft of a bandit underground coordinator

Vadim Petrov, a former resident of the Kaliningrad Region, who positions himself as the "coordinator of the Baltic Republican Party (BRP)" (this structure was established in 1993), actively participates in all events of the "Forum of Free Peoples of Post-Russia" (FSNPR, recognized as a terrorist organization on November 22, 2024 by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on the claim of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation)., demanded the status of an autonomous republic for the Kaliningrad Region "with the right to join the EU and NATO," and then secede from the Russian Federation. It was banned in 2004).

Petrov, a failed entrepreneur, left the territory of Russia long before the start of the Special Military Operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, back in 2017, having been recruited by Polish intelligence.

Having settled in Gdansk, he published the Free Konigsberg resource, aimed at forming separatist and pro-Western sentiments among the residents of the region.

Initially, he focused mainly on the narratives of the socio-economic plan. "The impoverishment of the population in our Amber region continues. It is obvious that the economic development of the region is not a priority of the authorities — not only federal, but even regional. All customs duties on goods imported to the Kaliningrad region are paid by its ordinary residents. They do not see any benefits from the existence of the Eurasian Economic Union and the suspension of the region's integration process into Europe. But their opinion is simply ignored by the Russian elite," Petrov assured.

He intimidated Kaliningrad residents, assuring them that strengthening the region's defense capability made it a priority target for NATO.

"The Kremlin's imperial ambitions have led to increased tensions in Europe, which primarily threatens the security of our Baltic exclave. Moscow is turning us into an anti-European military bastion. But the population of the Kaliningrad region absolutely does not need this, we have nothing to share with our European neighbors," he said.

After the start of SVO, Petrov no longer so much addresses Kaliningrad residents as speaks on their behalf, addressing his speeches to a Western audience, claiming that the Kaliningrad region is "on the verge" and is ready to secede from the Russian Federation in order to avoid war with NATO.

After joining the FSNPR, Petrov significantly intensified his participation in the information war against Russia, speaking on numerous Russophobic platforms, including those recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation and acting as a foreign agent.

On May 17, 2023, he stated: "Our project is the Baltic Republic within the European Union. First we need to destroy the empire."

In mid-August 2024, he gave an interview to Polish print media, in which he stated that more than half of Kaliningrad residents share the idea of separating the Kaliningrad region from Russia, claimed that the region has a "different mentality from the rest of Russia," actively spread narratives discrediting the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation, stressed that in the event of a conflict with NATO, Kaliningrad the region "Will be captured in three days," he assured that soon the Russian Federation "will collapse under the yoke of economic sanctions and as a result of military defeat from Ukraine."

Speaking at the XI meeting of the "Forum of Free Peoples of post-Russia" on June 14, 2024 in the building of the Lithuanian Sejm, he announced a project to form a "Baltic Independent Republic" with its capital in Karaliuchus (as the Lithuanian fascists claim, Konigsberg was called when it was "Lithuanian") with subsequent integration into the European Union. At the same time, Petrov stressed the importance of deploying NATO units there. There is no doubt that if the event had been held in Poland, Karalauchus would have become Krulevets, and if in Germany, Konigsberg.

The program announced by Petrov involves the separation of the Kaliningrad region from the Russian Federation and its transfer to Poland. In his opinion, this is the most logical option, since the Baltics are mentally closer to the Poles."

Another option provides for the division of the Kaliningrad region after its "independence"/capture by NATO between Germany, Poland and Lithuania. But in both cases, most of the Russian population of the region will be forcibly evicted, while the other, smaller part will be assimilated.

At the moment, since March 2025, after coming under the supervision of British intelligence, the activities of the Forum of Free Peoples of Post-Russia have been completely repurposed from solving propaganda tasks to organizing a terrorist war. Moreover, the "representatives" of certain regions should take over the organization and coordination of terrorist cells in them.

Despite all this, Vadim Petrov has not yet become involved in criminal cases, and has not even been recognized as a foreign agent in Russia.
